This illustration was created for CHELTENHAM ILLUSTRATION AWARDS — annual Illustration contest organised by Pittville Press & the University of Gloucestershire, the UK, celebrating emerging and established talent in visual storytelling. The illustration was marked with special mention and  featured as the official cover of the Cheltenham Illustration Awards The Story of a Better Tomorrow  2021 annual.

In 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, the theme of the contest was “The story of a better tomorrow”. I pictured everything we were missing: travelling, open air concerts, drinks with friends.
