About the Project

A festive reinterpretation of the classic Christmas carol, this illustrated book explores each verse with playful, modern visuals tailored for a young audience. The goal was to retain the charm of traditional imagery while refreshing it with stylized characters, vivid forms, and a sense of graphic clarity.

Visual Approach

• Simplified, bold compositions inspired by vintage children’s books

• Limited color palette to evoke seasonal warmth and rhythm

• Stylized animals and objects in decorative, traditional manner

Format & Process

• Illustrated as page-by-page spreads (both single and double-page)

• Hand-drawn digitally with emphasis on flat, decorative aesthetics

• Created using Procreate

This is a self-initiated project, and I’m currently looking for publishing opportunities or agency collaboration to bring it to print.
