The Book of Dead Things

Designs based on sketches of deceased animals I saw in various rural places in the UK, 2017

My sketchbook has started with dead pregnant sheep and newborn lambs I stumbled upon during spring lambing period. 

I then added a number of roadkill wild animals sketches. 

Some of the drawings are created right on the spot and some — from photographs.

I used watercolour pencils & gouache for this project.
